Trailer 1 SALT (in English)

It was only a few days ago the russian trailer for SALT starring Angelina Jolie. It was just a matter of time before Columbia Pictures penny dropped and the English version will soon be released and courtesy of Yahoo Movies here it is.

When you see the trailer and read the synopsis it does look a tad like Bourne which is not a bad thing as I am a big fan of the Bourne trilogy. Angelina Jolie plays Evelyn Salt a loyal CIA officer who sore a oath of duty, honour and to country and when CIA bring in a Russian defector who accuses her been a Russian sleeper spy. From here all hell breaks loose and Salt is forced to go on the run and prove her loyality and of course clear her name. She must keep one step ahead of her CIA collegues using her experience in covert operations to elude capture and protect her husband or face extinction.

Movie is directed by Phillip Noyce (Rabbit Proof Fence, clear and Present danger and The Bone Collector) with Liev Schrieber and Chiwetel Ejiofor. If you like your action movies you’ll like this, SALT hits the UK and Irish cinema’s on 20th August 2010 (USA 23rd July 2010).
