Too Much Sugar Can Kill You Watch Violet & Daisy First Trailer

After Hanna there’s something about Saorise Ronan with a gun, she certainly knows ho to kick ass  and now she ‘ll be at it again this time she’ll have company, watch the trailer for Violet &Daisy.

Violet &Daisy  marks Precious Oscar winning writer Geoffrey Fletcher‘s directorial debut of 2 young female assassins (Ronan and Alexis Bledel) who are hired to kill an mysterious man played by James Gandofini. Things start straight forward until their target throws a life changing offer to complicate things for the young assassins.

You have to go all the way back to 2011 Toronto Film Festival for when  Violet &Daisy made its world premier but it’s making progress with a cinematic trailer though we’re a little unsure what its trying to achieve. On paper it looks a straight up thriller however as learned from reviews from Toronto it’s a mish mash of genres which some may find intriguing if used in the right manner, however critically its left critics scratching their heads. Is it worth a look? Check out the trailer below and decide for yourselves.

Violet &Daisy doesn’t have a UK release date just yet, however American cinephiles can catch this next month on 7th June.Film also stars Danny Trejo, Cody Horn and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.

Synopsis

Violet and Daisy are a pair of gum-cracking teenage assassins who casually snuff out crime figures in New York City, distracted only by the fact that a concert by their favorite pop idol Barbie Sunday has suddenly been canceled.

Determined to raise cash for some Barbie Sunday dresses, the duo takes on a new hit job targeting a mysterious loner who leads them into an unexpected odyssey of self-examination and catapults the junior enforcers into a world beyond Barbie Sunday and bullets for pay.
