Tom Hardy Is The Krays In First Legend Trailer

In 2 weeks he may prove his toughness as the road warrior in Mad Max: Fury Road this Autumn he’ll be double trouble in Legend as Tom Hardy Plays Reggie and Ronnie Kray, watch first UK Trailer.

This is the first time footage has been seen of Hardy playing opposite himself as London’s most infamous gangster duo.

From Academy Award® winner Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential, Mystic River) comes the true story of the rise and fall of London’s most notorious gangsters, Reggie and Ron Kray, both portrayed by Tom Hardy in an incredible performance. Legend is a classic crime thriller taking us into the secret history of the 1960s and the extraordinary events that secured the infamy of the Kray Twins.

The last time the Kray brothers where subject of the 1990s The Krays with Spandau Ballet brothers Gary and Martin Kemp. Tom Hardy is certainly proven himself the past few years as a fine lead actor and his double performance in Legend looking at this trailer is another highlight. You get a good feel of the tone of the film which has some vigorous imagery and that Roy Orbison tune transports you back to the time the Krays ruled the streets of London’s criminal underworld.

Legend is blessed with a fantastic support cast of Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Christopher Eccleston and Taron Egerton, with the film arriving in UK on 11th September.
