Toast the end of the world with the barmageddon and watch the awesome new American trailer for Edgar Wright‘s The World’s End or be prepared  to get annihilated!

Mid-life crisis is getting Gary King(Simon Pegg) down and he decides to bring together his old friends all leading their own separate lives back to the old town and attempt to crack at the town’s  legendary twelve-venue pub crawl. As the friends attempt the epic bar crawl, the idea of a massive hangover is the least of their worries unknown to them the fate of mankind might be in their hands!

There’s two ways you can look at this trailer.Watch the brand new funny footage not seen in the UK trailer, secondly as this trailer could be seen as a little on the spoiler side watch re-watch the UK trailer. If you do watch this trailer, it will delve into the main characters a little more plenty of great banter with humour that’s trademark Wright/Pegg and Frost. In Sean of The Dead it was ‘you got red on it’ now it’s blue, but why blue well this is where the spoiler part comes into effect as you get a look at who is invading and how they turn the locals into blue eyed possessed zombies, you’ve been warned!

The World’s End will be ending in UK&Irish cinemas from 19th July with American cinemas catching it 23rd August. The Film co-stars Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan and Rosamund Pike.

Synopsis

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s.
