TIFF 2010: BANG BANG CLUB Trailer

If you read the post I did  on the line up for this years Toronto Film Festival back on July 27th you would have seen this trailer (link under the picture – ‘trailer’) but it seems today its been promoted just been released but below is the trailer for BANG BANG CLUB.

The movie stars Taylor Kitsch, Ryan Phillipe,Malin Akerman and Frank Rautenbach based on the four photographer’s who brought us the pictures of the final days of apartheid in South Africa, the snapshots of the hidden war. The movie is one of the 15 world premiere gala’s been held at TIFF which is in it’s 35th yearcheck out the promo below with the great soundtrack from David Bowie with Gene Genie.

The Bang Bang Club was the name given to four young photographers, Greg Marinovich, Kevin Carter, Ken Oosterbroek and Joao Silva, whose photographs captured the final bloody days of white rule in South Africa and the final demise of apartheid. The film tells the remarkable and sometimes harrowing story of these young men – and the extraordinary extremes they went to in order to capture their pictures. The film stars Ryan Phillippe, Malin Akerman, Taylor Kitsch, Neels Van Jaarsveld and Frank Rautenbach. –TIFF
