There's A Basterd Looking For Water For Elephants

What a 12months this “Basterd”  is having, when I mean Basterd Im talking about Inglorious Basterds  Hans Landa aka Christoph Waltz. Since that movie we are constantly hearing about new movie roles he’s getting offered along with the matter of an Oscar abd Bafta nominations. The lastest role Christoph Waltz has been offered is Water For Eelephants.

The movie is an adaptation of the Sara Gruen novel with Francis Lawrence directing and the movie is about a rundown circus during the depression era  and a vetinary student falls in love with the circus star peformer who happens to be the wife of a paranoid schizophrenic animal trailer played by Christoph Waltz. The student will be played by Twilight’s Robert Pattinson and the wife by Reece Witherspoon.

Apparently Waltz’s part is an violent part  and he does take it out his anger on the animals as much as his screen wife. Sean Penn was originally the man to play this part but I think we can say from his role as Landa in the Basterds we know he can play a dark decievous character who can also act as a nice person at the same time!!

Movie is scheduled for a 2011 release.
