BlueFinch Film Releasing have released the UK Trailer for Irish indie horror thriller, The Winter Lake. The truth lies beneath in this haunting coming of age story, but what secrets do they guard?
The film marks the directorial feature debut for Phil Sheerin, which made it’s world premiere Galway Film Fleadh in Ireland last year. From it’s time on the festival circuit, the reviews have been very strong and a film that’s packs a lot of emotional punch.
The Winter Lakes star Anson Boon as Tom a reserved teen who makes a bleak discovery in a seasonal lake. It unearths a truth about his neighbours, who are hiding some disturbing secrets.
The Winter Lake follows withdrawn teenager Tom (Anson Boon) who after making a grim discovery in a seasonal lake, discovers the truth about his neighbours, a father (Michael McElhatton) and daughter (Emma Mackey) who are harbouring sinister secrets.
The film also stars Emma Mackey, Charlie Murphy, Michael McElhatton, and Mark McKenna.
The Winter Lake will be released as an Digital Download from 15th March in the UK and Ireland.
