The Pig with the Froggy Tattoo! The Muppets are at it again with the parody trailers!
Is there anything left in the world for these Muppets to spoof? After a few parodies, then a proper trailer Kermit and gang are back to there old tricks and spoofing another upcoming blockbuster this time David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo! Instead of the Girl its the pig, Miss Piggy and this is probably the best of the parodies, I think even David Fincher would have a giggle at this and if there was a Oscar for best market promotion Disney would win this . What this trailer has done is reminds us of Fincher’s movie which is due another trailer very soon and we where all at the stage of nearly forgetting about it, but it looks like that trailer maybe sooner than we think as the American bloggers in a recent preview have been watching a 8 minute trailer!
In this new trailer we do get to see alot of Chris Cooper something we haven’t really seen in previous trailer plus we’re getting a better glimpse at the numerous cameos we can expect and one of those isn’t Steve Carrell,down to the old scheduling conflicts. I dont know why but it seems the Muppets marketing team are the only team in movieland that can create a funny parody,watch and learn Hollywood! irected by James Bobin (The Flight of the Conchords) with the main human cast been jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper in a story about Walter (Segel) and Walter his brother (a newly created muppet) head to tinsel town to help the Muppets save the famous Muppet Theatre from a mega rich oil Baron (Chris Cooper).

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.
