Jacob Elordi Goes To War In The Narrow Road To The Deep North Trailer
Prime Video has released the first trailer for their upcoming miniseries The Narrow Road to the Deep North, which you can watch below!
Based on Richard Flanagan’s novel of the same name, the Australian drama stars Jacob Elordi (Saltburn, Euphoria) and is described as “…a savagely beautiful five-part series charting the life of Dorrigo Evans, through his passionate love affair with Amy Mulvaney, his time held captive in a POW camp, and his later years spent as a revered surgeon and reluctant war hero.”
Elordi leads the show as Dorrigo Evans, “a young man who becomes a prisoner of war during the World War II. He was sent to the Burma Death Railway along with other captured soldiers, and were subjected to force labor. The trailer also highlights his life before and after the war, as well his love affair with a married woman.”
Directed and executive produced by Justin Kurzel (The Order, Macbeth) from a screenplay written by Shaun Grant, with the show co-starring Ciarán Hinds as Older Dorrigo Evans, Odessa Young as Amy Mulvaney, Olivia DeJonge as Ella, Heather Mitchell as Older Ella, Thomas Weatherall as Frank Gardiner, Simon Baker as Keith and more.
The Narrow Road to the Deep North is due for release in April.
