The Machinist Writer to re-script VLAD

Late last year it was reported that Summit Entertainment are in the process of making there own version of the Dracuala story calling it VLAD. The movie is to be action layered  with music director Anthony Mandler directing  and actor Charlie Hunman scripting  and Brad Pitt’s Plan B producing.

The movie is going to be an action fest focusing on the young prince whom the Dracual legend is based on and  THR are reporting Scott Kosar the man who wrote The Machinist movie as well as the upcoming The Crazies renake has been hired to rewrite Charlie Hunman’s original script. The idea of hiring Kosar is that Summit want to him to re create the feel/action as seen in 300 and with Anthony Mandler offically annouced as Director his artistic approach has been described very dark, amotspheric a style very similar to the way 300 looks.

If Kosar and Mandler can recreate the vision and style of 300 this could be an excellent movie to look forward too.
