Sony Classics has posted on line the English speaking version of the Michael hoffman written and directed movie THE LAST STATION.this is a historical drama that illustrates Russian author Leo Tolstoy’s struggle to balance fame and wealth with his commitment to a life devoid of material things.

Christopher Plummer, Helen Mirren, James McAvoy, Paul Giamatti and Anne-Marie Duff all star in the movie with Christopher plummer as Tolstoy. You can say this is Sony giving a last big push for the oscars maybe with helen Mirren and James Mcavoy for the for best actress/actor awards ? possibly

Anyway December 4th release stateside and Febuary 19th for UK &Ireland
