The Godfather Trilogy 4K Available In March

Now that you have seen The Godfather on the big screen once again, Paramount Pictures have an offer you can’t refuse. From 21st March, The Godfather epic trilogy will be released on 4K Ultra HDโ„ขย  yours to own on physical and digital for the first time ever.

When it comes to films that deserve to be called a ‘masterpiece’, Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather is one of them. With 2022 the 50th Anniversary of the original film, what treat to see it on the big screen. When they remastered and upgraded the film to 4K UHD, the other two films were restored too. Paramount and Coppolaโ€™s production company American Zoetrope undertook a painstaking restoration of all three films over the course of three years.

Newly restored and remastered in Dolby Vision, all three films in the landmark trilogy will be released together with HDR-10 on 4K Ultra HDโ„ข for the first time ever.ย  The 4K Ultra HDโ„ขย set will includeย The Godfather,ย The Godfather: Part II, and Coppolaโ€™s recently re-edited version of the final film,ย Mario Puzoโ€™s THE GODFATHER, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone.

In addition to the widely available 4K Ultra HDโ„ข set, a 4K Ultra HDโ„ข + Blu-rayโ„ข Limited Collectorโ€™s Edition will also be released in deluxe packaging and includes a hardcover coffee table book featuring stunning photographs, as well as portrait art prints on archival paper.ย  Both 4K Ultra HDโ„ข sets include the theatrical and 1991 cuts of The Godfather Part III, along with new bonus content including an introduction toย The Godfatherย by Coppola, a featurette about the preservation process, photos by acclaimed photographer Steve Schapiro, home movie footage, and comparisons of the new restoration to earlier versions of the films. ย A full list of new and legacy bonus content follows:
