The wait is over, Sky Atlantic has finally released the Official Trailer for Game Of Thrones Season 8!
After months of teasing from HBO/Sky Atlantic, the 2 minute Promo finally reveals the final season’s first footage. It seems its set around a Battle Scene, setting up the final showdown between Jon Snow and his allies against the Night King. The king does have the scheming Mad Queen Cersei on his side, but is she trying to undermine both?
After such a long wait for any footage, fans of the show will be over the moon getting a glimpse of their beloved Westeros once again. If the show-runners David Benioff and DB Weiss gotten their way there might have been no Trailer at all. As the final season is going to be ultra epic the pair wanted fans to go straight into that season blind.
You do get a sense of the finale season’s mood, the tease of the surviving characters. In reality what story will fans get when the show finally airs?
Before we continue, I may be in my eleventh year blogging, I have never seen Game Of Thrones. Shock Horror especially as I’m a fan of Lord Of The Rings makes me perfect candidate to watch George RR Martin‘s epic fantasy. Apologies if I’ve gotten any info or names wrong.
The final series will star Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maisie Williams, Gwendoline Christie, and Peter Dinklage.
Game Of Thrones Season 8 will premiere on 15th April 2019 on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV, at 2am or if you can’t stay up it will be repeated at 9pm. The earlier showtime is playing in line with the American season premiere on 14 April on HBO.
