Michael Keaton ‘I AM The Batman’
We can easily say next to Wonder Woman, Batman films been most successful of the recent DCEU era. Christian Bale made the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman his own. We forget before Christopher Nolan and Bale there was Tim Burton and Michael Keaton and 31 years later Keaton might just be the caped crusader once again.
The Wrap are reporting the move is to help The Flash into the DC movieverse (DCEU). Wait you ask he’s already in the universe with Justice League and this move be like a reboot . They say Michael Keaton is in talks with Warner Bros to return as Batman. He will appear in the long delayed The Flash movie which will see Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) travel back in time to prevent the death of his mother. Thus creating another universe where Keaton is still Bruce Wayne 30 years later.
How much of the film Keaton might be in hasn’t been mentioned, so if he signs on it could be one scene or most of the films. Most of all his presence is there to show , The DC universe, there’s no main universe.
Russell Crowe’s Unhinged Getting A UK Release.
As cinemas reopen across the UK and Ireland this Summer, Altitude will release Academy and BAFTA Award-winner Russell Crowe’s highly anticipated new thriller UNHINGED from Solstice Studios on the big screen from 17 July.
UNHINGED takes an ordinary, everyday incident to its most terrifying conclusion in telling the story of a mother (Caren Pistorious SLOW WEST) who leans on her horn at the wrong time, to the wrong guy (Crowe). ‘Road rage’ doesn’t begin to describe what he’s about to do to her and everyone she knows.
“Altitude are excited to be working with our exhibition partners as they reopen UK and Irish cinemas this Summer with the releases of UNHINGED and BLACK WATER: ABYSS this July,” said Altitude.
We’re confident that cinemas will observe appropriate government guidance to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for audiences and staff and we look forward to auditoriums welcoming enthusiastic filmgoers to re-engage the big screen experience.”
