The Critically Acclaimed Odyssey Getting December Home Release

Icon Film Distribution have a great early Christmas present idea for fans of gritty British thriller, Odyssey. Gerard Johnson‘s critically acclaimed film is set for a Home Entertainment release in December.

Johnson has created a catalogue of  slick indie thrillers which include Hyena, Tony and Muscle. His latest debuted at SXSW before heading to Edinburgh then FrightFest. The film stars Polly Maberly, Mikael Persbrandt, Guy Burnet, Jasmine Blackborow, Daniel De Bourg, and Peter Ferdinando. Odyssey we follow a fierce estate agent who professionally takes a drastic fall and finds herself stalked by loan sharks.

Our genre editor Bradley Hadcroft watched the film at this year’s FrightFest. In his 4 star review Bradley described “Odyssey is as satisfying as it is brutal. Synopsis | A cutthroat real estate agent takes a spectacular fall from the corporate ladder when her loan-sharks call in their debts.

Odyssey will be released on Blu-ray and DVD from 8th December, then on Digital platforms from 22nd December.
