The Criterion Collection July Slate Will Be A Shocking Fairy tale

Some of us will be dusting our passports for those holidays abroad in July, over at The Criterion Collection it will be a shocking, tender fairy tale.

Today with help from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, the Boutique film distributor unearth 3 new titles coming to the UK and Ireland. Including films from Oscar winning filmmakers Bong Joon Ho, David Lean and shock Auteur John Waters.

First up on 18th July comes a 21st Century fairy Tale from Korean Film Maker Bong Joon Ho (Parasite) with OKJA. An exhilarating twenty-first-century tale that swirls pathos, dark satire, action, and horror.

On 25th July, John Water‘s PINK FLAMINGOS, the ever shocking counterculture sensation and his most infamous and daring cinematic transgression. Outré diva Divine is iconic as the wanted criminal hiding out with her family of degenerates.

Also on 25th July SUMMERTIME, an exquisitely tender evocation of the magic and melancholy of a fleeting, not-quite-fairy-tale romance by director David Lean.

OKJA (2017) FANTASY, ADVENTURE

Master genre exploder BONG JOON HO (Parasite) swirls pathos, dark satire, action, and horror into an exhilarating twenty-first-century fairy tale.
