Sylvester Stallone To Star in Wayne Kramer's Action Flick HEADSHOT

After the sucess of THE EXPENDABLES it seems Sly Stallone cant get enough of that action movie fix that he’s just signed with Wayne Kramer’s HEADSHOT.

Stallone will head back into familar territory when he’ll star as a hitman who heads to New Orleans (The home for The Expendables) where he has to team up with a young NYPD cop investigating a series of murders that lead them to the dingy back streets of New Orleans all the way up to the power corridors of Washington D.C.

This is the type of movie that made Stallone’s name in the 1980’s early 1990’s it made him a bigger international star after he made himself a household name with The Rocky Franchise. At times it does sound very generic  but curiousity prevails to see if Stallone can actually still be a good action hero without actually directing the movie himself or is the old bones playing up? Also the movie will have a script created by Alessandro Camon who wrote the oscar nominated The Messenger (starred Ben Foster & Woody Harrelson) the other is we dont know much more about this movie just yet so you never know there could be something  extra  going on here we dont know about yet.

The movie doesnt have distribution rights but this thrusday sees the start of the rights in the European Film market and hopefully then we might get more news or even progress of this project
