Teenage Rebellion In Space Watch New Voyagers UK Trailer

Voyagers (2021)

When you become a teenager it’s in your DNA to rebel, the official UK Trailer of Voyagers, you will rebel in space.

Originally this film was set to be released earlier this year by Universal Pictures. But like many films it finds itself in a new home with Sky Cinema, all thanks to Covid. Which has forced studios to question the quality of the films on their roster. Like many things a change does the film the good, hopefully for Neil Burger‘s sci-fi thriller too.

Voyagers cast is led by Tye Sheridan and Lily-Rose Depp who are part of a group of young adults sent into space to colonise a near by planet. However when it comes to space things don’t go well when the mission collapses into chaos and paranoia.

The Young adult audience can be one of the hardest to connect with, Burger tried with Divergent critically failed. This one certainly has a euphoric Lord Of The Flies vibe here’s hoping the young cast can deliver.

Set in the near future, the film chronicles the odyssey of 30 young men and women who are sent deep into space on a multi-generational mission in search of a new home. The mission descends into madness, as the crew reverts to its most primal state, not knowing if the real threat they face is what’s outside the ship or who they’re becoming inside it.

With the future of the human race in danger, a group of young men and women, bred for enhanced intelligence and to suppress emotional impulses, embark on an expedition to colonize a distant planet. But when they uncover disturbing secrets about the mission, they defy their training and begin to explore their most primitive natures. As life on the ship descends into chaos, they’re consumed by fear, lust, and the hunger for power.

The cast also includes Fionn Whitehead, Chanté Adams, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Viveik Kalra, Archie Madekwe, Quintessa Swindell, Madison Hu, and Colin Farrell.

Voyagers will now be released in the UK and Ireland on Sky Cinema also NOW streaming service from 8th October.
