Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham Hints At August Release For Season Four

Hannah Waddingham says Ted Lasso returns this August

Hannah Waddingham, who plays Rebecca Welton in Ted Lasso, has hinted at a summer date for the upcoming fourth season of the soccer comedy, Deadline reports.

The hint was made during an interview with Baz Bamigboye at Sunday’s BAFTA film awards. When asked about any possible dates for Ted Lassoโ€™s Season Four, set to be available for streaming on Apple TV, the star replied quickly: โ€œAugust, I think.โ€

Waddingham then stepped back and reconsidered such a specific answer, questioning: โ€œAm I allowed to say August? What if Iโ€™m wrong? I think itโ€™s August.โ€

The star was then prompted for any details of the seasonโ€™s direction, stating: โ€œItโ€™s a whole different deal with our Lady Greyhounds. I canโ€™t wait for everyone to see what theyโ€™ve come up with.โ€

โ€œI love Rebecca Welton, my character,โ€ she concluded. โ€œThe writing is so magnificent.โ€
