Taylor Sheridan’s Wind River First Trailer Sees Jeremy Renner And Elizabeth Olsen Hunt A Killer

Wind River

Cannes Film Festival is currently still playing and the past few days has been unearthing some exciting movies to watch out for like Wind River starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen. After delivering scripts for Sicario and Hell Or High Water Taylor Sheridan closes his laptop and gets behind the camera in his directorial feature debut.

The Weinstein Company (STX Entertainment in UK& Ireland) has released the U.S Trailer for Wind River as a merciless terrain of a Native American reservation. As two agents paths cross after a body of a young woman is found, resulting in the pair hunting a killer at large.

This looks a very effective thriller that’s gained notable acclaim at Sundance Film Festival and now Cannes Film Festival. We do like the noir tone of the movie with suggestions the actual snow teasing the notion there’s something deeper and darker hiding underneath. We can’t wait to see this one unfold on the big screen.

U.S. Fish & Wildlife agent Cory Lambert (Jeremy Renner) discovers a body in the rugged wilderness of the Wind River Indian Reservation. The FBI sends in rookie agent Jane Banner(Elizabeth Olsen), but sheโ€™s unprepared for the difficulties created by the oppressive weather and isolation of the Wyoming winter. When she employs Cory as a tracker, the two venture deep into a world ravaged by violence and the elements. Wind River is a stark look at life on the edge of an imposing wilderness, where the rule of law is eclipsed by the laws of nature.
