With Atomic Blonde starring Charlize Theron recently released in UK cinemas shows the girls can kick ass as much as the boys. That movie was more inspired by its comic book roots this one is more inspired by the Blaxploitation roots. Will it be as brutal as Atomic Blonde or have a body count like John Wick? Hard to say but it’s a great time to be a fan of action thrillers!

Taraji P. Henson is Mary, a hit woman working for an organised crime family in Boston, whose life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses when a professional hit goes bad.

Proud Mary will fire her way into the UK and Irish Cinemas on 2nd February 2018 (12th January 2018 in the USA). The cast also stars Neal McDonagh, Billy Brown, Xander Berkley, Jahi Diโ€™Allo Winston and Danny Glover.
