New Superman TV Spot Shows The Man Of Steel Take Flight in James Gunn’s New Film

DC Studios has this weekend released a new TV spot for their hugely anticipated summer blockbuster Superman, which gives audiences a new peek at the film which is due in cinemas this summer!
With fresh new footage showing our new Man of Steel David Corenswet flying high amongst the icy mountains, it whets the appetites even further for what will come in James Gunn’s new film in the DC universe. The teaser spot shows more of what was seen in the teaser trailer – the likes of Krypto, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, Metamorpho, Green Lantern, – but in the spot, we see Superman taking flight properly and while it looks spectacular, the flight sequences might take a bit of getting used to. This is early days, of course, and CGI and the like aren’t finished but we are convinced that Gunn’s expertise and vision will be well worth the wait.
In addition to everything new in Gunn’s film, we are still very excited by the modern-day reinvention of John Williams’ iconic score from the original films. That alone is enough for us!
Written and directed by Gunn, the film stars Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Mercad, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Skyler Gisondo, Pruitt Taylor Vance, Neva Howell, Sara Sampaio and Wendell Pierce.
Superman opens in cinemas on July 11th.
