This one is is set in 1930’s  Art Deco style cafe called Cafe De Baggage. Exploring the themes trauma, promise of love and compromise.  What’s special about the cafe it’s a place for blind dates. As part of the deal is you bring your emotional baggage with you in the shape of a suitcase…or two.

You feel your whole world falling apart when you go on a date  and it’s a disaster. What do I say? What do I not say or even mention?  Our potential lovers  do create a nice chemistry, they do argue a lot at the same time. This short film does explore the difficulties of dating  and that question we ask a lot ‘are we worthy of love’? Hendrix does add his own personal experiences with his own struggles in love and dating  as someone with Autism. If you are yourself or know someone with Autism, breaking  routine  and communicating can be extremely hard.

Whatever your situation in life, we all share the same desire to love. Enjoy the cheesy one liners and slapstick moments…

A snappy absurdist comedy about a blind date where everyone brings their emotional baggage to the table in the form of literal suitcases.

Baggage stars Horace Gold, Michelle Ortiz, James Tang, Skarlett Redd, Allen Marsh.
