Conclave And The Brutalist Win 4 Awards At EE BAFTA Awards

The Baftas have spoken. Tonight Edward Berger‘s Conclave and Brady Corbet‘s The Brutalist win 4 awards each at EE BAFTA Awards.

The BAFTAs better known as British Film Academy aka British Oscars was home for Hollywood’s finest. Conclave winning Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay and Editing. Brady Corbet‘s The Brutalist was which was one of the leading nominees with Adrien Brody winning Leading Actor, Corbet Best Director, original Score and cinematography for Lol Crawley.

Sean Baker‘s Anora saw Mikey Madison winning Leading Actress award and dedicated her award to sex workers. Rich Peppiatt win Outstanding Debut for Kneecap and Emilia Perez did well despite the controversy. Winning Best Film Not In English Language and Zoe Saldana best Supporting Actress.

Tonight’s EE BAFTA Awards was very low key on the politics, with only host David Tennant getting a dig at Donald Trump.
