Apocalypse Now (1979)

The Canal+ company, Studiocanal, has announced it is launching a new catalogue label called Studiocanal Classics.

This new movie library is home to โ€œthe largest library of European feature films and one of the most prestigious film catalogues in the world.โ€

It comprises more than 9,400 films, spanning 60 countries and covering 100 years of cinematic history. Some of its biggest titles include Rambo, Apocalypse Now, Terminator, Bridget Jones, Basic Instinct, Mulholland Drive, Escape from New York, La Grande Vadrouille and Paddington.

From the library, and hitting cinemas soon, will be Michael Mannโ€™s Manhunter: The Final Cut (Sept 25th), as well as Panโ€™s Labyrinth and a Jacques Tati retrospective.

Studiocanal Classics will soon reveal its 2027 theatrical and home entertainment slate, which will include the release of a highly anticipated David Lynch collection.
