Strange things are happening in Enfield and in a new featurette for The Conjuring 2 explores those strange happenings. Ahead of it’s UK release next month the latest promo which sees Janet and Margaret Hodgson discuss their experiences of the terrifying events which have inspired the upcoming horror film from James Wan.

It’s been nicknamed the ‘English Amityville’ the new video we meet the real life victims Janet and Margaret Hodgson, the daughters with Janet who was possessed. We learn that the family did not know about the houses previous history but like many of us sometimes moving to a new house, new area is all we want. The real Lorraine Warren also shares her own experiences of the strange happenings, as we know from the first film this experience really affected her.

In The Conjuring 2 Vera Farmiga (Up In the Air, TV’s Bates Motel) and Patrick Wilson (the Insidious films), reprising their roles as Lorraine and Ed Warren, who, in one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations. An investigation when see them travel to north London 1977 to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.

The first half of the featurette we see the actual photographs The Hodgsons took,even 45 years on they still send shivers down your spine. We also get a little taster if the recordings before the we get snippets of unseen footage of the film with the cast and director James Wan sharing there thoughts. Whatever you believe in possession or not or think what this family went through was a hoax It was a genuine terrifying experience you wouldn’t want any family to go through, as Janet says in this video, it would kill her if it happened again.

The Conjuring 2 is set for 17th June UK release date, co-starring Madison Wolfe, Frances O’Connor, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Simon McBurney and Franka Potente.
