Starzplay Bringing High Fidelity TV Show To UK Watch Trailer
Starzplay today have announced they will be releasing the TV adaptation of High Fidelity in the UK. The series is also been released around several European countries and we have an international Trailer.
Inspired by Nick Hornby’s novel and the Touchstone film of the same name, the series reimagines the story from the female perspective. Zoë Kravitz (“Big Little Lies”, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Mad Max: Fury Road) stars as Rob, the ultimate music fan and record store owner who’s obsessed with pop culture and Top Five lists – a female take on the character played in the movie by John Cusack talking straight to the camera as she chronicles past relationships.
When you adapt a much loved book which was also a cult film, to keep the legacy going a TV series is the next step. Off course not every book or film, a series does it justice and with the source having ‘cult’ status, you will be walking on eggshells. This series has already been shown on Hulu in the U.S and reviews have been positive so fans of the book and film will have a smile on their faces.
The series also stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, David H. Holmes, Jake Lacy, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.
High Fidelity season one will arrive on Starzplay Thursday 10th September in the UK and Ireland. The series will also premiere in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Latin America, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland.
