Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home Heading Back To UK Cinemas!

2026, the Star Trek Universe is celebrating it’s 60th anniversary, in September the franchise celebrates another landmark. Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home will be 40 and the film will be heading back to UK and Irish cinemas!

Paramount Pictures have also released new artwork from Matt Ferguson.

In Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, to save Earth from an alien probe, Admiral James T. Kirk and his fugitive crew go back in time to San Francisco in 1986 to retrieve the only beings who can communicate with it: humpback whales. This film was so different from other Star Trek films, it was seen as their most successful film to date. With focus shifting from Deep space to a something realistic, campaign to ban whale hunting.

The Voyage Home was directed and staring Leonard Nimoy, alongside William Shatner, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Catherine Hicks.
