Spock In A ‘Illogical Moment’ In Star Trek In Darkness First Clip
In 3 weeks time JJ Abrams Star Trek Into Darkness will once again boldly take us where no one has gone before and the latest promo sees Mr Spock in a ‘illogical’ moment in the film’s first official clip.
If you where fortunate to see the 9 minute prologue (screened with the Hobbit) this new clip will be very familiar to you which sees Spock (Zachary Quinto) stranded in a middle of a very active volcano. So how did a vulcan find himself in a very illogical place you may ask? The crew of the Enterprise are on a mission to save a indigenous alien race from extinction but like all good plans nothing goes right leaving Kirk (Chris Pine)in precarious position. Shall put the crew in danger to save his friend or listen to his friend reminding him “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few”!
I’ve been fortunate to have watched 45 minutes of the film and though this clip may only be over 1 minute long we do get a real sense of the tension, the thrilling adventure Abrams has in store for us!
The film co-stars Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg,Anton Yelchin, Zoe Saldana,Karl Urban, Peter Weller,Bruce Greenwood, Alice Eve and John Cho. Star Trek Into Darkness arrives on UK&Irish shores 9th May (USA 17th May).
Synopsis
When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.
