Millenium Films have released an early promo trailer for SOLITARY MAN. Movie sees Michael Douglas in lead role as a car magnate watches his personal and professional life hit the skids because of his business and romantic indiscretions.He leaves his wife who is played by Susan Sarandon as well as alienate his daughter played by Jenna Fischer. Trying to sort himself out he goes on a road trip to visit his old college buddy played by Danny DeVito who tries to help him piece his life back in place.

This movie played out at this years Toronto Film Festival and did recieve a number of good reviews despite the shoddy poor last part, with some saying it’s his best movie since Traffic.It is also evidence that Michael Douglas still has some of the old acting magic left plus it shows he’s up for it and not scared of the prospect of playing older aged parts. Jesse Eisenberg, Imogen Poots and Mary Louise Parker also star.

March 10th, 2010 is the USA release date, no word of the UK & Irish date yet but expect roughly the same or early springtime.
