Overture Films have just released the first trailer for BROOKLYN’S FINEST online. Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle, Wesley Snipes, Vincent D’onfrio, Ellen Barkin and Will Paton all star in the movie.

The movie actually made its debut away back at the start of 2009 at Sundance festival and went into hiatus due to mediocre reviews but this was my first time reading and watching anything about this movie and I have to agree with First Showing (source of the trailer) that the movie actually looks impressive.The movie is very intense, action packed and reminscent of many of the corrupt cop movies of late 1980/1990’s, very old school but very contemporary and its a indie as well.

The movie has been directed by Antoine Fuqua who brought us Training Day, Tears of a Sun, Shooter.No release date yet for UK & Ireland but Brooklyn’s Finest will be in American cinema’s March 5th 2010
