Friday sees the relase finally of SHUTTER ISLAND in the UK & Island. The movie is based on a Dennis Lehane (Mystic River) novel set in 1950’s about a disappearance of a female killer from a hospital for the criminal insane and presumed hiding on the remote ashcliffe hospital. Teddy Daniels played by Leonardo Di Caprio heads to the island with his partner Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) to investigate but things dont seem to be what they are.The movie is directed by the iconic martin Scorsese and this movie seems to be the darkest pyscholigical movie he made to date.
