He is Senor Armando Alvarez…Gringo! Full Trailer For CASA DE MI PADRE Starring Will Ferrell

Everyone knows I love my foreign flicks and I don’t mind the subtitles I just alot of friends who wont watch this despite been big fans of Will Ferrell, basically laziness. CASA DE MI PADRE is a comedy in Spanish which frankly has to be enjoyed in Spanish or it probably lose its charm but most of all its funny side. Tonight those gringo’s that brought us Anchorman have released via our amigos at Yahoo Movies a full trailer for Ferrell’s upcoming comedy and it’s simply cheesy fun! Over the top absurd soap opera acting proving been a ridiculously stupid film is a recipe for a fun film, it looks like something straight out of a Saturday Night Live sketch. You expect Ferrell to do something like this however Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna you don’t and you can see the pair must have had a ball making this we even have Genesis Rodriguez (Man on a Ledge) been a señorita chica woppa!

Armando Alvarez (Will Ferrell) has lived and worked on his father’s ranch in Mexico his entire life. As the ranch encounters financial difficulties, Armando’s younger brother Raul (Diego Luna), shows up with his new fiancé, Sonia (Genesis Rodriguez). It seems that Raul’s success as an international businessman means the ranch’s troubles are over as he pledges to settle all debts his father has incurred. But when Armando falls for Sonia, and Raul’s business dealings turn out to be less than legit, all hell breaks loose as they find themselves in a war with Mexico’s most feared drug lord, the mighty Onza (Gael Garcia Bernal)

No word if this one will arrive in UK&Ireland or it’ll take the same route as Ferrell’s last film the underrated Everything Must GO (2 weeks cinema, then direct to DVD), however our Americano gringo’s can catch senor Ferrell on March 16th.
