Believe it or not, Charlie Brown and his beloved dog Snoopy haven’t had a big screen outing until now. The Peanuts gang, based on a comic strip by Charles M Schulz in 1950, have had a lot of success with television specials, but later this year we will finally get to see them on the big screen in Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie. 20th Century Fox have released some new character posters for all the gang ahead of the film’s release later this year.
Synopsis – Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle – and flying ace – embarks upon his greatest mission as he takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis The Red Baron, while his best pal, Charlie Brown, begins his own epic quest. Â
Instead of the traditional animation, Blue Sky have given the characters a 3D makeover, and we have to admit, it looks pretty good. Judge for yourself below with the trailer and all the new character posters.
