Second Trailer Drops For 'Heart of the Beast' Starring Brad Pitt

Paramount Pictures has released the second U.S trailer for David Ayer’s new film Heart of the Beast starring Brad Pitt and a German Shepherd dog, Odin.

The film follows Pitt‘s character, Special Forces officer James Belmont, and his “highly trained, combat K9”, Odin, who find themselves stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash. They are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements – and a wolf or two.

The film is described as an intense adventure thriller, which explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet.

It’s the latest film for Ayer, who is best known for writing and directing 2016’s Suicide Squad and directing 2024’s The Beekeeper.

The film also stars J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe. Ayer, Pitt, Olivia Hamilton and Marty Bowen serve as producers, with Damien Chazelle, Scott Lumpkin, Cameron Alexander, Chris Long, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary, Sophie Cassidy and Zack Conroy serving as executive producers. Alexander also wrote the screenplay.

The film has reportedly been test-screened multiple times in recent months, with the screenings receiving positive reactions.
