This comedy is about acting your age and other ‘adult’ decisions. To mark the movie’s cinema release on November 7th, here are our top 5 hangover cures, for the days where a painkiller and cuppa just won’t cut it.
HAIR OF THE DOG
The expression “hair of the dog” refers to the method of treatment for a rabid dog bite by placing hair from that dog in the bite wound. And although the thought of drinking again is usually the VERY last thing on your mind during a hangover, science suggests that drinking alcohol the morning after a night of heavy drinking can actually lessen your hangover symptoms. Our favourite morning-after indulgence? A Bloody Mary of course!
GREASY FOOD
Roll out of bed and head straight to your local greasy-spoon. Sausage, bacon, eggs, beans? Order it all! Your stomach will be thanking you later, although we can guarantee that your calorie count will not.
PICKLE JUICE
As strange as it sounds, pickles actually contain a ton of salty electrolytes that help you recover from a night of heavy drinking. To make the most of pickle juice’s special powers, down 2 ounces before you go out and 2 ounces in the morning. And for those of you who don’t own a measuring cup 2 ounces is the size of a standard shot glass. We know you’ve got a few of those lying around!
GINGER TEA
In the US, one of the most common beverages consumed during sickness is ginger ale. That’s because studies show that ginger reduces nausea and motion sickness. So brewing up a mug of ginger tea can soothe the nausea that comes from having one too many! Some sound advice from the other side of the pond.
Aspirin

The globally trusted fast hangover remedy for the pounding headache, sour stomach, nausea, drowsiness, and fatigue, and other symptoms associated with hangovers: choose the fast-acting hangover remedy that will get you feeling better fast. You can even buy small morning-relief packs to take with you on the go! This is pain relief marketed to masochists. And we say party on.
