Sacha Baron Cohen Signs Up For 3 Year Film Deal With Paramount Pictures
Whatever you think Sacha Baron Cohen’s Red Carpet stunt at the weekend’s Oscars it done the trick for his latest film The Dictator.It got the people tweeting worldwide and of course it got the stars talking as well when the ‘victim’ of the stunt interviewed them on the red carpet. It’s obvious Ryan Seacrest was in the stunt his reaction would have been a lot worse and if wasn’t set up the news today from Paramount would probably wouldn’t have happened. Today Paramount Pictures have announced the actor his signed up for a 3 year deal for Paramount Pictures under his Four By Two Films production title who will produce his next original film but in further news Paramount have given a fund to develop to generate projects here in UK too which is fantastic news for UK film industry but most of Cohen fans.
Paramount Pictures have sent us a new press release revealing all the info on the announcement and that Admiral General Aladeen of the fictional Republic of Wadiyah has certainly made an impression on us westerners. The Dictator will be release in UK May 18th and one week earlier in USA.

“The Dictator” Star Simultaneously Commits To Make His Next Original Film for the Studio as Part of an Overall 3-Year Deal with His Four By Two Films Banner
HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 29, 2012) –Paramount Pictures, a division of Viacom, Inc., announced today it has signed Sacha Baron Cohen and his Four By Two Films banner to an exclusive 3-year first-look deal. Four By Two Films will be headed by Sir Todd Schulman (THE DICTATOR, BRUNO).
As the star and studio prepare to release the comedian’s latest film THE DICTATOR on May 11th in the USA and May 16th in the UK and Ireland, they simultaneously have agreed to partner again on Baron Cohen’s next original film in which he stars.
As part of the arrangement, Paramount has also created a development fund for Baron Cohen to generate projects in the United Kingdom to find new talent.

Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Anna Farris, the film is directed by Larry Charles and produced by Baron Cohen, Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer, David Mandel and Scott Rudin.
