Sometimes in life we need saving, what would you do if that person that would save you, is yourself? In the First Trailer for Netflix‘s time travelling sci-fi adventure The Adam Project, Ryan Reynolds is saving himself, literally!

So how can he save himself? travelling back in time and meet himself as a kid! He is a time travelling pilot after all in this Shawn Levy (Free Guy, Night At The Museum, Stranger Things) film.

Forget those classic Star Trek episodes, meeting yourself may not be always that total disaster we thought it would be. If anything helping your other self might just be the only way! Reynolds  is a pilot called Adam who lives in 2050 who finds himself trapped in current day time, wounded and ship damaged, he enlists the help of his younger self , eventually their father. Whilst saving the future Adam must confront his past.

Like any family member  who sadly passed whom you didn’t get a chance to say goodbye properly, this film is like that second chance. Delivered in a way that’s like vintage Steven Spielberg ala 1980’s. I wasn’t a fan of Free Guy, however this one might be very different .
