Russell Crowe Is Possessed In The UK Trailer For The Exorcism

Vertigo Releasing have released the UK Trailer for horror The Exorcism starring Russell Crowe who just happens to be possessed!

The New Zealander actor is no stranger to playing the man of the cloth. Recently he played Gabrielle Amorth, the infamous Catholic Church exorcist in The Pope’s Exorcist. For his latest film He’s a troubled actor playing a priest in a film!

Formerly called Georgetown Project, The Exorcism sees Crowe as actor Anthony Miller. Things start to unravel for him whilst shooting a horror, his estranged daughter thinks he’s fallen into addictions again.

The film is directed by Joshua John Miller who just happens to be the son of actor Jason Miller. His father did play Father Karras in The Exorcist and this is inspired by his own personal experiences. We do like the idea of a horror film within a horror film idea, vey meta!

Anthony Miller (Crowe), a troubled actor, begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter (Simpkins) wonders if he is slipping back into his past addictions or if there is something more sinister at play.

Also starring in this one is Ryan Simpkins, Sam Worthington, Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg and David Hyde Pierce. The Exorcism will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 21st June.
