Entertainment One have unveiled the first UK Trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves.
With San Diego Comic Con now under way, fans where treated to this trailer. The live action version of the classic fantasy roleplaying board game, it actually looks not bad. Certainly a massive improvement on the forgettable last attempt which I can’t even remember was released! (2000, starring Jeremy Irons and Marlon Wayans – editor)
This version stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, and Hugh Grant. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Game Night) both co-direct this one.
You could have the Stranglers No More Heroes as the score, as their is only honour amongst thieves. As a group of thieves band together to retrieve a lost relic. Things go dangerously wrong all thanks to the wrong people.
Fans of the classic roleplaying game (RPG) will smile as this homage to the game. Many of the characters will be familiar, biggest test lies ahead. Will it convince non Dungeons & Dragons fans to go see this? I’ll admit, when I was younger I was a Warhammer fan than D&D. Looks a fun film…
