Return To Silent Hill Trailer Will Consume You With Darkness

Nearly 20 years after Christophe Gans directed Silent Hill, he returns to direct Return To Silent Hill. Cineverse / Bloody Disgusting have released the U.S Trailer and when you watch you will be consumed with darkness.

Like the the first word in the film’s title, the promotion for this has been ‘silent’. The first film was critically a flawed but loved cult horror with many fans of the game. You may ask wasn’t there a sequel in 2012? Yes there was, the forgettable mess called Silent Hill: Revelations. Gans was originally in line to direct that, but other projects stopped that happening.

Return To Silent Hill stars Jeremy Irvine, Hannah Emily Anderson, Evie Templeton, Pearse Egan, Eve Macklin, and Emily Carding. The games original composer Akira Yamaoka scores this as well as the sound design. I actually like what I’m seeing here…
