Fight! First Insane Trailer For Street Fighter

Paramount Pictures have dropped the ferociously insane first Trailer for Street Fighter! Ready, Set…Watch!!!

CinemaCon has been lighting up Las Vegas the past few days. Slowly we’ve been drip fed a preview of some of the films we can expect this year. Kitao Sakurai‘s (Bad Trip) 2026 film version of the classic Capcom video game

Who are our fighters? Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile, Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim, Eric André as Don Sauvage, Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Hirooki Goto as E. Honda, Mel Jarnson as Cammy, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog.

The first 1994 film may have been a cheese fest, the so bad so good cult film was faith to many of the fighters. The trailer for Street Fighter 2026 suggests this is going to be even closer to it’s roots which will please fans of the games, will it beat the film game adaptation hoodoo?

Synopsis | Set in 1993, estranged Street Fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) are thrown back into combat when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament: a brutal clash of fists, fate, and fury. But behind this battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face off against each other and the demons of their past. And if they don’t, it’s GAME OVER!

Helmed by director Kitao Sakurai, Street Fighter is set to bring the battle from the arcade to the big screen with Hadoukens, roundhouses, and all your favorite characters.

Street Fighter will be released in UK, Irish and U.S Cinemas from 16th October.
