Prepare For The End In With Netflix’s The Rain Season 3 Trailer

Will you save the old world or start from scratch and rebuild a new world? Next month Danish Post Apocalyptic series  The Rain will arrive on Netflix for a Third and final season. Now we have a Official Trailer as Brother and sister are now at odds.

The new season will pick up right after the conclusion of Season 2. The battle between Rasmus and Simone re-commences as they fight to save what is left of humankind as we know it. One wants to save the world, the other wants to create a new one. The virus can be stopped. At a cost. Prepare for the end.

I found this show at the same time as I discovered The Dark and I really like both. Love the premise of something mysterious in the rain that has killed off the majority of humanity. Even more terrifying as we find ourselves in a pandemic with Covid-19, we live in fear and at times confusion in whats right or whats not.

If you ever wondering if this is any good, this is one of Netflix most watched Non English language shows. Figures been mentioned, 30 million, need I say more?!

The Rain season 3 will pick up where the second season left off. Years after the rain decimated the population of Scandinavia, Simone and Rasmus find themselves at odds on how to save humanity. Rasmus wants to infect everyone with the same beta version of the virus that turned him into a superhuman, while Simone insists that there must be a cure. Will they manage to put their differences aside in order to do the right thing?.

The returning cast include Alba August (Simone), Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen (Rasmus), Mikkel Boe Følsgaard (Martin), Sonny Lindberg (Jean), Lukas Løkken (Patrick), Clara Rosager (Sarah), Evin Ahmad (Kira), Nathalie Madueño (Fie), and Johannes Kuhnke (Sten). They will be joined with new cast which includes Rex Leonard (Daniel), Cecilia Loffredo (Luna), Henrik Birch (Lars), and Annemette Andersen (Trine).

The final season of The Rain will arrive on Netflix from 6th August.
