Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is headlined by musical digital-shorts superstars Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. The comedy goes behind the scenes as singer/rapper Conner4Real (Samberg) faces a crisis of popularity after his sophomore album flops, leaving his fans, sycophants and rivals all wondering what to do when he’s no longer the dopest star of all. The latest comedy from blockbuster producer Judd Apatow (Trainwreck, Superbad, Knocked Up) co-stars Sarah Silverman, Tim Meadows and Maya Rudolph and many of the biggest names in comedy and music in cameo performances.
I have to admit I’ve never really been a fan of Samberg probably because of his associations with Adam Sandler but this looks fun film. Ever wanted to know why Seal got his scars? It’s been a long time since Ive seen Saturday Night Live as here in UK it’s shown in very few channels, but it’s a TV show has comedy legendary status which has bred some of the best comedians/comedic actors.Plenty cameos from film, TV and music world we wouldn’t expect less now send in the wolves!!!
