The People’s Movies is shortlisted for a RAFA in The Richard Attenborough Film Awards for Best UK Film Blog site 2012
Last month The Peoples Movies received a wonderful letter to confirm the website has been for Richard Attenborough UK Film Awards Blog of The Year! To be associated as well as shortlisted for the newly created award which are dedicated to one British film’s icons,A ambassador for film in general and is an honour, another fine example of how well The People’s Movies has progressed since the early days.
We never regard ourselves as superior or professional big guns we are film fans who use The Peoples Movies (and Cinehouse) as a platform to share our love for cinema in all shapes and forms. 2011 has been a fantastic transitional year for the site, new team onboard always bringing new faces onboard too giving film fans worldwide an artistic license to share their love for film too, most of all we loving sharing news, veiws, trailer and reviews with you. This is an view I’m sure the other fantastic film blogs that have been nominated too will agree on too, we all have the same goal but also agree we don’t run our blog’s in a sole purpose to be award chasers it’s just an amazing feeling to be nominated a sign of the hard work we’ve put into our blogs.
Voting opens today and you can now vote, casting your vote via the film Award’s official websit www.filmoftheyear.co.uk/public-vote . Voting will stay open until January 20th, 2012 with the winners been announced by James King on January 26th.
