Where did this one appear from?! This is unexpecting but very exciting through the power of the internet Sony Pictures have released the official first trailer for MEN IN BLACK III 3D.It’s 14 years since those men and black suits with the shades and that shiny pen where introduced to the world and next summer we see Will Smith along with Tommy Lee Jones not forgetting Josh Brolin as they go on a time travelling rescue mission. Josh Brolin does look perfect as the younger Agent K but as the trailer let’s out Agent K (Jones) has been dead for nearly 40 years, I really like those plots that make you sound crazy. Talking of crazy it seems this third film has had it’s fair share of delays, hassles especially in the script department, the trailer does feel a little bit over the place, fingers crossed it’s all sorted now as I enjoyed the first film. As they say sometimes certain films should never have been made into franchises or maybe they should have called it a day on the last film on the evidence of this trailer you could say Men In Black should have stopped at film 2 however Will Smith and even Tommy Lee Jones need a solid franchise to get them back on track.
Here’s hoping when the film arrives on May 25th 2012 in UK&Ireland all our concerns will be forgotten. MEN IN BLACK III 3D also stars Alice Eve, Emma Thompson, Rip Torn, Johnny Knoxville, and Jemaine Clement.
*UPDATE 13 DECEMBER – A big thanks to Columbia Pictures who have sent us the UK version the trailer which is slightly shorter but still has all the best bits stils included!
In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and thefuture of humankind.
