Pedro Pascal Returns ‘Home’ In Behemoth! New Trailer
Searchlight Pictures have released the new official trailer for drama Behemoth! And it looks like Pedro Pascal is ‘returning home’.
After 14 years away Tony Gilroy returns to the director’s chair for his latest feature. That film was The Bourne Legacy which critically a mixed bag as with Jeremy Renner in the lead instead of Matt Damon. Gilroy hasn’t stepped away with a focus on writing especially Star Wars Franchise with Rogue One and Andor. Now he takes on the musical world with Pascal in lead ready to face the music as a gifted musician.
Behemoth! follows Alex Serian (Pascal) who comes from a musical family with his instrument of choice , the cello. After 20 years on the road he returns home to Los Angeles to compose music for films. His job takes him to new places with plenty of twists and turns changing his life forever.
This trailer doesn’t make things clear when it comes the film’s actual story. It also looks like this will take an non linear approach, with each scene jumping to different times in Alex’s life. Music is a pivotal part to film and this might be a homage to those who create great music.
This film also stars Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton, Kaya Ralls, Erik Griffin, Jobeth Williams, Margarita Levieva, with Hank Azaria and Will Arnett.
Synopsis | A gifted cellist, Alex Serian (Pedro Pascal), returns home to Los Angeles after 20 years on the road. Music, which has been the constant, all-consuming river of his life, begins to carry Alex on an adventure that will change him forever.
