New Trailer For Peacemaker: Season 2 Finally Arrives!
DC Studios and HBO Max have released a new trailer for Peacemaker: Season 2, which you can watch below!!
James Gunn returns as showrunner with John Cena returning to the lead role. After Gunn launched his new DC Universe with Superman, we return to Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker (Cena), and friends, one month after the events of Superman. Through a dimensional portal, Chris travels the multiverse to Earth, where, for once, he is viewed as a hero.
James Gunn will be known to audiences through Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), The Suicide Squad (2021), and Peacemaker Season One (2022). For John Cena, if you didn’t know him as a WWE superstar, you might know him from Bumblebee (2018), Fast & Furious 9 (2021) and Ricky Stanicky (2024).
Returning cast Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Robert Patrick, Jennifier Hollan, and Steve Agee. With an additional cast of Michael Rooker, Frank Grillo, Tim Meadows, and Sol Rodriguez, with cameo appearances from Sean Gunn, Nathan Fillion, and Isabela Merced.
In season 2, Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands.
Peacemaker: Season 2 releases in the UK on August 21st.
