We do enjoy our crime thriller/dramas that have that cat and mouse chase. One of those film’s is Hong Kong crime thriller Caught In Time, check out the UK Trailer, as police officer and criminal have one final chase.

The film comes from Lau Ho-Heung who has made a name for himself as writer. He has worked for the likes of Johnnie To (Three) and various Donnie Yen films (Bodyguards And Assassins), Simon Yam films (Two Thumbs Up) to name a few. This film marks his second directorial feature since Two Thumbs Up (2015) and he has Daniel Wu (Tomb Raider) and Wang Qianyuan leading the cast.

Caught In Time starts in the 1990’s when a Interpol agent Cheng (Qianyuan) is tasked to bring down the Eagle criminal gang. Confronting their leader Xuan (Wu) to arrest the gang who have undertook shocking robberies who provoke’s Cheng. Decades later the urgency to stop the Eagle gang steps up as his time is nearly up, will he catch them in time?

Based on the real crimes committed by a notorious serial killer, Caught in Time is a gripping all-action crime thriller starring Daniel Wu (Tomb Raider). After ten years of playing a cat-and-mouse game, detective Zhong Cheng is under immense pressure to capture Eagle, a gang of robbers who have committed multiple deadly heists. With each successful robbery, the pursuit becomes an increasingly urgent race against time.
