One Battle After Another wins big at 2026 EE Baftas

The BAFTA Film Awards nominations for 2026 have been announced by actors David Jonsson and Aimee Lou Wood. The 79th ceremony to announce the winners will be held on 22nd February, honouring the greatest achievements in filmmaking of the past year, in addition to spotlighting and applauding upcoming British film talent. It will be held in the Southbank Centreโ€™s Royal Festival Hall.

One Battle After Another takes the lead with its 14 nominations, with Sinners coming right behind with 13. In a shared third place with a total of 11 nods, Hamnet ties with Marty Supreme. Both Frankenstein and Sentimental Value have received 8 nominations, while I Swear and Bugonia have each earned 5.

The Ballad Of Wallis Island, F1 and Pillion have all received 3, and lastly The Secret Agent , Wicked: For Good and Zootropolis 2 all received with 2 nominations each.
